Email Marketing

Email may be the older, less glamourous and trendy marketing sibling to social media but it still packs a punch when done well.

And that’s the thing – done well, your email campaigns should reach your target audience – done badly, your company will quickly gain a reputation for sending spam, which should be avoided at all costs!

In 2016, total business emails sent/received per day was 120.4bn and this figure is set to rise to 128.8bn by 2019*. In simple terms that is 122 emails per day per user. So, we think it is safe to say that email is still very much a marketing tool to be reckoned with!

The biggest plus of email marketing is that it is a VERY cost effective way to engage with your customers. The key is in making sure the email content is relevant, timely and personal to ensure any campaign gets good results. (Without wanting to get into the dry subject of data protection and lose you forever, legislation around the idea of “Opt-in” emailing, has reduced the level of us all receiving irrelevant rubbish in our Inboxes!)

Another positive is that email marketing offers very clear measurement of investment as results can be tracked very easily.
